- Guest Wristbands: ALL guests of The Crane Resort are required to wear a wristband while on the property until further notice. The wristband issued will be in accordance with tourism health and safety protocols.
- Cleaning & Sanitizing Protocols: Throughout the property, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing processes are conducted with state-of-the-art equipment such as Victory electrostatic sprayers in addition to approved multi surface cleaners and disinfectants. Team members are trained on the proper use of these chemicals and equipment to ensure effective cleaning.
- COVID-19/Crane Confidence Training: All team members have received specialized training on the new cleaning and safety protocols which build upon the already established high standards at The Crane. These training resources are easily accessible and available to team members on an ongoing basis.

There is 24hr security on Crane Beach and regular police patrols - note that for security purposes, the elevator and stairs are locked at sundown
Since Crane Beach is a public beach, a lifeguard is provided by the Barbados Government - note that the station is not manned daily and swimmers should exercise caution at all times
Beach users are advised to avoid swimming when the red flag is flying
Boogie boards are not provided by the hotel
